Can I get sued for this?

So I got a toy horse and painted it to look just like Jonathan Knight of the New Kids on the Block's horse. I want to tweet a picture of it to him, so I can maybe get a reply and be recognized by him but I don't know if that somehow infringes copyright? Since the horse is technically his property? He does not seem like type who would sue over something so little also. Thoughts?
