Can you tell if you could be pregnant while you are ovulating?

I know this is super early but my husband and I have been trying to get pregnant and the odds are a bit tough since I am older. I noticed a huge surge in my emotions today more than I have had ever during ovulation. I ovulated over the past two days according to the Clearview digital monitor and my husband and I followed instructions to try according to recommendations of friends and the OBGYN. My nipples are extremely tender and I am a mess. Is it wishful thinking or is it possible that I could be this hormonal and feeling soreness because I could be pregnant? Or are these symptoms sort of typical for ovulation? I know its way to early to test :(
