Doesn't the idea of eternal life sound a bit silly?

Why would you think it's nonsense? What if someone thinks otherwise? Don't YOU think it's silly to be saying stuff that's kind of coming out mean about someone else's beliefs? I don't normally read the bible, and I don't have a religion, but I do believe that everyone has their own rights, opinions, and beliefs, so the way you're saying all this makes you come out as kind of a jerk. I'm sorry for saying that but it's kind of true.
