Sounds to me, like most women, she doesn't know what she wants. She would like a guy more attractive to her, but she likes the qualities of your friend. Basically, this wants the best of both worlds. Your friend shouldn't change who he is for her. She needs to decide what she'd rather have (it seems your friend would be better for her) and quit leading your friend on.
