Breast tenderness a week before period. Pregnant?

Im a week away from my period. I had my period last month on time. I usually have the normal breast tenderness before my period but usually within a week of starting my next period. My breast tenderness began about a week ago and is unusually more sore this month. Some days are better than others. Sometimes they dont hurt at all while at other times just the pressure of my bra or them bouncing is excruciating. At times they barely hurt at all. I feel like they are swollen as they feel slightly bigger than usual however im afraid it may be all in my head. I took a pregnancy test last week and it was negative. Too soon to test perhaps? Like I said, im still roughly a week away from my next period. No other symptoms either besides feeling the need to urinate more. However im feeling like that one is just wishful thinking as well. I plan to test next week on the 6th since that will be 5 days before my period and it is my understanding that 5 days before a missed period is a perfectly acceptable time to take a home pregnancy test. I dont really feel different other than the breast tenderness. What do u all think? Is it a good possibility that I am finally pregnant?
